Next came the night's most visually accompolished performance, the multi-media set by Xero-G. They play a high energy anime electro that can either feature utopian or apocalyptic lyrics. Female-male trade off vocals and sounds in a way similar to Lucia and Sasha K of KMFDM... VIRUS! review of Xero/G from the 2005 NYC Synthpop Festival (01/17/05)

There is an old saying that says you know you're getting old when policeman start looking young. This also seems to apply to synthpop bands & never more so than in the case of Seth Questor & Victoria Angell, the two young American whippersnappers who have produced this excellent debut, the sleeve pictures make them look barely out of school!! ... This is a cool new album put out on Ninthwave Records which features great electronic programing which goes from old-school Kraftwerk moments to very modern futurepop tracks. Xero G has a cool female lead vocalist who sounds a lot like the gal that used to sing on Xymox's albums "Twist of Shadows" and "Phoenix". It's a great combination! Xero/G is a Male/Female duo with female vocals (so rare these days!) and a very
cool darkwave/ebm-ish sound. Their debut album features plenty of cool tunes plus
a cover of The Who' s Baba O'Reiley!

New York based Xero/G has been around for a while, but their first official
release is coming up soon. The vocals have migrated to all-female vocals,
and the music has gained a much poppier sound with their recent material.
"Falling Into Dreams" is a catchy track which really pushes this band fully
into the synthpop genre. If the rest of the upcoming CD is like this track,
we should be looking forward to their upcoming release
